Balsa Wood Supply

International Renewable Energy sources Grade A balsa wood from plantations throughout Indonesia for delivery to wind turbine blade manufacturers and other high end light weight construction projects in Asia and Europe.

We have substantial storage capacity via our purpose-built warehouse facility in Central Java, Indonesia.  This facility includes in-house baking capabilities via world class kilns installed on prem, as well as the skilled labour and equipment required for processing raw materials to order.

Micro Solar / Storage Farms

IRE provides micro solar farms and battery storage platforms to off-grid and partial-grid communities in ASEAN.  We deploy best in class bi-facial PV panels and lithium-ion battery storage to support local enterprise and residential user groups.

This transforms the quality of life and economic prospects of the local communities by migrating them from unreliable, time limited, and expensive power from polluting diesel generators to 24/7 clean energy availability.

International Renewable Energy provides multi-megawatt capacity lithium-ion batteries to grid providers to enable the storage of power generated during off-peak periods. This power is then available for delivery to end-users during peak periods when demand can exceed grid supply.

We further enhance grid providers supply elasticity and scalability via the design implementation of multi-megawatt hybrid platforms. This enables grid providers to generate additional energy via renewable sources and to store this power for delivery during peak periods at premium rates.

Case Studies

We are working with a remote island community in ASEAN to implement micro solar farms for the residential community and also sustainable DER platforms for strategic industries that are key to stimulating economic growth. 

This includes cold storage facilities to enable farmers and fishermen to store and export their harvests.  These facilities are off-grid and wholly supported by renewable energy sources.

We have other projects to build micro grids on islands in Asean where there is currently no grid. The islands are only served via gensets, which typically provide three or four hours of power per day. The power provided is expensive and the generators are disruptive in terms of noise pollution and damaging emissions. We have further modified our design to include metering which enables private and enterprise consumers to pay based on their actual consumption and for the power to be available 24 hours each day thereby transforming standards of living and the competitiveness of the local economies.

Rural and off-grid power solutions for the telecommunications market

We are working with leading telcos and tower providers across ASEAN to provide hybrid power solutions with design modifications to withstand typhoons, and accessible remotely for monitoring and software maintenance to reduce call-out frequency. This allows for greater durability, cost savings and environmentally friendly site management improvements. These are essential considerations for all sites and even more important when sites are remote or inaccessible.

We are also implementing an AI solution that will interpret drone footage from remote towers to minimize call-out frequencies and improve diagnostic accuracy and maintenance efficiency.

Renewable energy platforms for the datacentre industry

International Renewable Energy provides bespoke solutions for datacentre providers to enable the colocation provider to sell all available space within their site, despite all available grid power being already utilized.
